Stories
Stories from people and families who have found hope, community, and a place to grow at Calvary.
When we first came to Calvary, life felt heavy. We had been talking about getting back into church, hoping it could help bring healing in our family. One afternoon, while taking our daughter to the park, God completely interrupted our plans.
We ended up at a park we never normally visited, where we met another family whose daughter had the same name as ours. That simple conversation led to meeting someone from Calvary who invited us to church. Sitting in the car afterward, we both cried because it truly felt like God was answering the questions we had been carrying for so long.
From the very first moment, we were welcomed like family. Since then, our lives have completely changed. We both gave our lives to Jesus and were baptized, and our daughter already talks about the day she wants to be baptized too. Even our extended family has started coming to church.
This past year has still had challenges, but we honestly don't know where we would be without God and the people at Calvary beside us. We found hope, community, and a relationship with Jesus that changed everything for our family.
If you've been thinking about coming to church, take the step. You may not walk in with all the answers, but you'll experience something real... and it just might change your life the way it changed ours.
I'm so thankful to have a place for my kids to come and learn. The world seems to be full of confusion sometimes, so having a place where my kids are excited to go and learn is a huge blessing!
The worship, care, and pastors are top-notch. There's something for all ages.
