What to Expect

A comfortable first visit.

You can come as you are. Our goal is to help you feel welcomed without pressure.

Before service

Come a few minutes early, park in our large on-site lot or nearby overflow street parking, and stop at the Welcome Centre or talk to someone with a lanyard if you need help. We have a chairlift available for anyone with accessibility concerns.

During service

We worship, pray, read Scripture, and hear a practical message centered on Jesus. You can expect the service to last between 60-75 minutes.

What to wear

Wear whatever feels normal to you! Some people choose to dress up, and some wear their every-day clothing.

Calvary Kids

Children are welcome in the service, and our kids program is offered during the Sunday 10:30 AM gathering. We also have a Moms & Babies room where you can follow along with the service and not miss a beat!

Questions

Common first-visit questions.

Where do I park?

There is a large on-site parking lot at 384 St. George Street and overflow street parking nearby. We also have a chairlift available for anyone with accessibility concerns.

Will I be singled out?

No. We will welcome you warmly, but you will not be put on the spot.

Can my kids stay with me?

Yes, but we have options available that will speak to them right at their level so that they can grow in their friendships and relationship with God, too! If they are timid about staying alone, ask about our options for staying with them to help them acclimate!

Is there anything for my kids to do?

We have an incredible Kids Program that runs alongside our main service on Sunday mornings. At Calvary Kids, your children will be taken care of by volunteers with training and background checks, and they will hear about the core truth of the Kingdom of God presented in a way that helps them to learn. We have a check-in process that ensures everybody's safety. If you want to get a head-start and speed up the registration process on your first time, ask us about filling out the first-time registration ahead of time!
